Aaron Suthers
As a fourth generation solicitor, the law is in Aaron’s
blood.
In addition to his extensive work in personal injuries cases he was
the first family law accredited specialist to practise on the Fraser Coast.
He takes great care in his work in family separation cases
and works hard to minimise the effect of any dispute on the
children.
Aaron is a mediator and arbitrator of disputes for Legal Aid Queensland
and is an independent children’s representative.
He is a member of
the family law section of the Law Council of Australia and
the Australian institute of Family Law Mediators and Arbitrators.
In addition to being the firm's senior and managing partner, he also sits as a member of the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
Travis George
Travis was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and of the High Court of Australia in 2004. He joined the firm as a partner in 2007.
Prior to being admitted as a solicitor, Travis worked for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions and as an Associate to a Judge of the District Court.
In additional to a Bachelor of Laws, Travis holds a degree in Behavioural Science and a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons). These qualifications and work experience have benefited Travis in his practice in both the criminal and family law fields.
Travis is a presiding member of the Mental Health Review Tribunal and was an inaugural volunteer with the Maryborough Neighbourhood Legal Service. He continues to volunteer his time with this organisation.
Specialising in criminal and family law, Travis represents clients of the firm in Court on a regular basis.
Rod
Suthers
Born in 1939 in Ayr, Rod was admitted as a Solicitor in
1963. He has been in general practice since that time but
has always focussed on Personal Injuries Law, his particular
specialty.
Formerly the firm's senior partner and now a consultant
to the firm, he
provides a wealth of experience and knowledge which is valued
not
only
by our
clients, but also by our professional staff.
Rod has been honoured by the Supreme Court for his unpaid
work for the Fraser Coast Palliative Care society, just one of his charitable
interests.
 Our Conveyancing Paralegals
Sue and Susan are both Maryborough locals and are the friendly
faces
of our conveyancing team.
Prior to joining the firm Sue had fifteen years experience
in finance including as district manager for GE finance,
an international finance Company.
Susan has split her career between the real-estate and legal
professions.
Between them, and with the constant supervision of our Solicitors,
they have the necessary skills to assist you with your conveyance.
